Published by: Sevilla

We welcome in EIG ESIC Seville to the third call of the free program 'Digital Generation SMEs' It is the session with more participants in Andalusia to date. The objective is to train in a 100% practical mode to executives, managing partners or managers of an SME to acquire the necessary knowledge to digitally transform their own companies.

The presentation was given by Nono Toré, teaching coordinator for Andalusia, who accompanied and encouraged the more than 30 attendees to make the most of this opportunity to drive the transformation of their businesses. He also highlighted the importance of digital training in the current business context.

The program began on January 22 and lasts 12 weeks, with a format that combines 75% online training and 25% face-to-face sessions. This structure is designed so that participants can adapt their work schedules and reconcile it with the training.

Generación Digital Pymes is led by the Secretary of State for Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence (SEDIA) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation. Enrolled students have the opportunity to definitively break the digital divide through training that includes 15 hours of personalized mentoring for each company, geared towards the development and presentation of a digital transformation plan. This approach reflects the program's commitment to the specific development of each participating company.

One of the strengths of the training is the use of the ABR (Challenge-Based Learning) methodology, as it provides a practical approach that allows participants to progressively apply the knowledge acquired in their companies. This method promises a more enjoyable and effective learning experience.

All companies interested in boosting digital transformation have the opportunity to register for this training and to participate in the next calls, on January 29 in Malaga and Granada, on February 5 in Cadiz, on February 12 in Cordoba, on February 26 in Huelva and on March 4 in Seville.

Generación Digital Pymes is a free and subsidized program, as it is part of the National Digital Capabilities Plan, framed within the Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Government of Spain and financed by the European Union through the Next Generation EU funds.
