WHAT IS SUSTAINABILITY FOR ESIC?

At ESIC we are aware that we all have an influence in one way or another on the sustainability of the world we live in. Our goal as an institution is to ensure that the impact of the ESIC Community is positive and for this we need the involvement of all those who make it up.

To achieve this, we aim to incorporate environmental, social and governance criteria into our decisions."

What are the Sustainable Development Goals?

The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are a set of global goals approved by the leaders of 193 countries under the auspices of the United Nations. They represent a common agenda to work together on the great challenges affecting humanity, such as poverty eradication, protection of the planet and prosperity for all people.

What is ESIC's contribution to the SDGs?

ESIC contributes to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through three areas of action:

  • In our internal management, as an organization
  • From the training we provide to our students and members of the ESIC community, both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Promoting applied research to contribute to a more sustainable world

Although our actions have an impact on many of the Sustainable Development Goals, our main contribution focuses on the following objectives:

17 SDGs: Inspiring Women

In collaboration with WAS - Women Action Sustainability, at ESIC we have developed a series of 17 videos, one for each Sustainable Development Goal, collecting conversations of WAS executives with ESIC students, alumni and young employees, sharing what they have learned from other women who did not always get the deserved recognition for their work in favor of the challenges faced by the 17 SDGs of the 2030 Agenda.
