ACADEMIC PROGRAM 

This course consists of two main areas of knowledge in the field of e-commerce. On the one hand, you will delve into the main strategic aspects that must be devised and planned in the development of an online store. On the other hand, we will delve into the 9 major areas of operation of an Internet sales business, in order to master them before launching the ecommerce.

As in any other business, we must plan for it. In the case of ecommerce it is no different. In this course we will review the process to create this strategic plan, with special emphasis on business models (energized by the Business Model Canvas), customer segments and value proposition. We will review the main ecommerce models existing today: proprietary ecommerce, D2C, marketplace, DNVB, dropshipping...

In the online ecosystem, the business website is the main point of contact for all the main steps with customers in ecommerce. How to carry out the design from the ideation to the implementation of the same, will be the different sections to understand in this subject. For this we will use web design tools (Figma). The complement in this subject will be the definition of the necessary analytics and how to understand it (GA4 and Hotjar will be the tools to review).

The ecommerce revenue equation has 6 main levers to work on. Qualified traffic, conversion rate, average ticket, purchase frequency, prescription and data monetization, these are the areas to work on in order to maximize the revenue of the ecommerce business. In particular, we will dedicate a large part of the session to see how to optimize the conversion rate (CR).

In the case of having to ship physical products in the online sales process, logistics will play a key role, both to ensure a good customer experience and to contain the store's costs. Any inefficiency will have a negative impact. We will learn about the different logistics models for ecommerce. From the traditional own warehouses, to the current advanced dropshipping models, through different configurations at all stages of the process.

There are more than 300 online payment methods in the world. In this course we will review the traditional ones such as credit card, cash on delivery or transfer; the current digital ones such as PayPal, Stripe... and the arrival of new and attractive new models: mobile payments, digital payments, instant payments, cybercurrencies, "buy now, for later", and others. It will be interesting to know the commissions and how to configure them in our online store.
This is one of the main ecommerce activities that we spend the least time designing and operating. On the other hand, we detect that well-managed customer service channels bring us new sales, improvement of NPS indicators. In this course you will learn how to design an ecommerce customer service plan and estimate the necessary resources.
Although this course is not a marketing training, we will analyze how to approach the positioning strategy of the store in the main search engines, where we will focus on Google. We will talk about search engine marketing (SEM), organic positioning (SEO) and paid search engine optimization (SEA). We will use different tools such as Google's keyword planner and others.
Selling is social by nature. Reviews or opinions, social networks, user-generated content, are nothing more than areas of activity that will help in the commercial process of an online store. We will dedicate special attention to the evolution of social networks and direct marketing services, to learn how to introduce them in our ecommerce strategy.
Being a business, it will be necessary to understand the profit and loss account and the balance sheet of the ecommerce itself. This course will analyze how to build it, manage it and understand it in order to keep the economic and financial control of the online business.
In this 100% practical workshop you will develop an ecommerce with the SAAS and no-code tool, Shopify, the undisputed market leader today.

PRACTICAL PART 

Creating the business model for online sales. How to conduct market research and develop the Business Model Canvas. 

Analysis and Creation: Analysis of the revenue equation of an ecommerce. Analysis of case studies for conversion rate optimization. Creation of an online catalog will be the other area of work in the workshop. 

Business models and business: In this workshop you will also learn about Amazon's business model in detail. It will also delve into the guidelines for the internationalization of the business and other disciplines of business operations.
