Renewal of the accreditation of the Degree
During this academic year, the accreditation renewal process for the Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Management in the Digital Domain ( Degree ) will take place on September 15 and 16. This process is conducted by a committee of external experts from the Madri+d Knowledge Foundation, who will evaluate the program’s progress and outcomes.
During the accreditation renewal process for any official degree program, hearings will be held with the various groups involved in that program (students, faculty, program administrators, alumni, etc.). Since the number of participants in these hearings is limited, the madri+d Foundation offers anyone interested the opportunity to share their opinion with the evaluation panel on any aspect related to the degree program under evaluation by filling out the Open Hearing form.
It is important that these forms be received before the visit so that the panel can take them into account when evaluating the corresponding degree.
Thank you in advance for your interest in this shared goal of continuously improving the quality of our educational programs.

Credit recognition is automatic, as all institutions participating in the program use the ECTS system as an academic reference, and quality assurance processes are followed through the signing of the corresponding “learning agreements,” which can be viewed at any time via the EWP platform.
Erasmus+ is the EU program to support education, training, youth, and sports in Europe. For the 2021–2027 period, the program places special emphasis on social inclusion, the green and digital transitions, and promoting young people’s participation in democratic life.
It supports the priorities and activities set out in the European Education Area, the Digital Education Action Plan, and the European Skills Agenda. The program also supports the European Pillar of Social Rights, implements the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027, and develops the European dimension of sport.
ESIC University, recognizing the importance of international experience for its students, also maintains international academic agreements with higher education institutions outside the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), developing student mobility programs outside the Erasmus Program through ESIC University’s own programs: Global Terra and Munde.
Furthermore, through ESIC Idiomas, the study and practice of foreign languages are promoted among students, faculty, and all university staff, as well as among all adults interested in learning modern languages. All course programs organized by ESIC Idiomas comply with the guidelines for language proficiency levels set forth in the Council of Europe document titled “The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.” Therefore, these courses are designed to:
Improve students’ language proficiency Prepare students for official exams Promote international university mobility
Students may participate in the mobility programs offered by ESIC University for up to one semester, equivalent to 30 ECTS credits.
Students must possess sufficient knowledge of the language required for the corresponding position. In this regard, it is an essential requirement for eligibility for a mobility position to hold and be able to demonstrate a minimum C1 level.
Evaluation of Mobility Programs
Mobility programs have evaluation mechanisms that may differ from one program to another. Common to all programs, the Office of International Relations at ESIC University conducts a thorough follow-up by administering surveys to both host and ESIC students. In addition, the International Relations Office organizes visits to partner universities to ensure and evaluate the quality of these programs.
With regard to specific mechanisms, the European Union’s Erasmus Program has its own evaluation mechanism, which involves the analysis and monitoring of selected program participants chosen through a random sample conducted by the Autonomous Agency for European Programs (an external body).
In addition, all participants in degree-related mobility programs complete a questionnaire that is subsequently evaluated by the Quality Assurance Committee. In this way, feedback from both outgoing and incoming students is particularly valued for the review and improvement of the curriculum.
Credit Transfer Mechanisms
The degree program has two Academic Exchange Coordinators who are responsible for ensuring the credit transfer mechanism.
In the case of the Erasmus+ Program, as previously mentioned, the credit recognition procedure is governed by the program’s regulations and is based on the signing of academic agreements that bind three parties: the two institutions involved and the student. Credit recognition is automatic, as all institutions participating in the program use the ECTS system as an academic reference. In this case, the Academic Advisors are responsible for guiding and helping students choose the correct courses, in coordination with their counterparts at foreign universities.
In the case of the MUNDE program, since the external institutions are all outside the ECTS system, the process also involves evaluating the course workload in terms of ECTS credits for courses at the external institutions and, based on this evaluation, determining the correct credit assignment. Academic Advisors are also responsible for this assignment and evaluation. Once the equivalence has been determined, an academic agreement is signed that binds all three parties: the two institutions involved and the student.
Support Mechanisms for Students Participating in Mobility Programs
All information regarding mobility programs is available on the University’s website. In addition, ESIC University has an Office of International Relations. This office provides administrative support to students. This support includes information on agreements, scholarships, insurance, etc. Academic support is provided by the Outgoing Managers, who offer students information on potential destinations, destination profiles, and how well students match those profiles. Likewise, personalized and individualized support and follow-up are provided to groups with specific needs, as outlined in the Erasmus+ Program’s Inclusion and Diversity Strategy for the 2021–2027 period.
Mobility Grants
All programs are co-funded by the University. The Erasmus+ Program works with external organizations and institutions that provide additional financial aid to students: the Ministry of Universities, the European Union, Santander Universities, and the Community of Madrid.
The MUNDE program is funded by the University, and its beneficiaries are also eligible for scholarships from Banco Santander.

ESIC University has a Professional Development Unit (UDP), which serves as one of the university’s natural links to the business world. External Academic Internships are a training activity that students undertake under the university’s supervision. They are primarily and preferably carried out at companies, organizations, or public or private agencies.
ESIC maintains relationships with approximately 8,000 companies that recruit students—who are currently enrolled or have graduated from our university—to participate in their internship programs or to join their workforce.
The UDP will ensure that the number of internship opportunities available during the academic year is equal to or greater than the number of enrolled students.
Degree students Degree participate in external academic internship programs once they are enrolled in the course. The procedure for accessing the internship opportunities managed by ESIC University begins with submitting an application and registering in the online system—which ensures compliance with the GDPR—after which students begin participating in the selection process.
Student internships are assigned based on academic criteria and a match with the student's profile. To be considered for an internship, students must be enrolled in the course.
In any case, the internship schedules will be compatible with the students’ academic activities. All of this, along with other details, will be set forth in the Educational Cooperation Agreement and its respective Annex, which is the document that governs the collaboration between the parties regarding the students’ practical training and is formalized in accordance with current regulations on external internships for university students.
