Comité de Calidad, Acreditaciones y Rankings

El Sistema de Calidad de ESIC está soportado por Comisiones en las que están representados los diferentes grupos de interés que participan de ESIC. Las Comisiones Estratégicas y Académicas de ESIC, están representadas a lo largo de las diferentes Comisiones de Calidad, permitiendo así alinear los objetivos estratégicos, académicos y de calidad.

Quality in Teaching

Faculty evaluation is one of the key processes in the quality of teaching offered by an educational institution. ESIC, in its culture of continuous improvement, has developed since its inception a faculty evaluation process based on satisfaction surveys of teaching activity along with the assessments of the Academic Management itself.

This process has been and continues to be one of the pillars of the levels of quality in education set out in ESIC's Mission and Values.

With the arrival of the new regulation of the European Educational Framework, ESIC has given even greater impetus to the teaching activity evaluation processes.

The teaching evaluation designed under the Reference Framework of the Docentia Model provides an even more detailed and regulated model that will give greater solidity over time, both in terms of maintaining the desired levels of quality in the teaching activity of the degrees, as well as in the professional development of teachers within their activity at the Institution.

Calidad en las titulaciones

Committees by Degree: Each Degree shall have a Committee formed as follows:

  • The Director of the Academic Committee of the Degree, who will preside over its meetings.
  • A Coordinator of the University or Postgraduate area, corresponding to the Degree.
  • Two to five professors teaching in the degree program.
  • The student delegate and subdelegate of the degree program.
  • A representative of the Academic Management Staff (PAS).
  • One/two external experts

Objective of the Committee: body responsible for the Quality Assurance of the Degree. Its purpose is to promote the continuous improvement of the program seeking excellence through the following functions:

  • Follow-up of the objectives of the Study Plan.
  • Proposals, implementation and follow-up of program improvement actions.
  • Develop IQAS within the framework of the degree program.
  • Make the appropriate evaluations of the quantitative and qualitative data provided by the "Degree Reports" and proposals for improvement based on such information (Degree Report included in the Annual Degree Report).
  • To prepare the Annual Graduation Report.
  • To involve the academic directions in the permanent improvement of the Degree.
  • To involve the non-academic management in the permanent improvement of the non-academic services of the students who study the Degree.

Frequency:2 meetings per academic year and per program (degree).
