"Sport has been part of my life since I was very young. I try to make people see through it that, behind a disability, there are people just like everyone else. Believing in and applying values such as equality, effort, perseverance and self-improvement have been what have made me who I am today."
Myriam Guijarro
"For me, volunteering is my life. Being a volunteer fills you so much and enriches you as a person that you see life with different eyes, whether it's in dealing with problems or in day-to-day life. You experience how by giving a little to others you receive much more than you give. It is the best master's degree to value life."

In the Christian reflection meetings at ESIC I have discovered a space of respect, closeness and affection in which I can freely share what I am. I have learned to reconnect with my fragility and my inner self; to gather myself in love in the face of pain, fear or doubt. Throughout my life my faith has not been stable, I have felt close and far from God, but today more than ever I feel I am on the road to unshakable peace.

Volunteering has enriched my experience as a student and as a person. Being part of such a creative marketing team, with such varied knowledge and, above all, with a spirit of collaboration to improve people's lives, has been part of a constant learning experience.

For me, this experience is very gratifying because I am part of a social project whose selfless objective is to provide educational training to young people in poverty who cannot access it.

Cinema is an affective experience that allows us not only to understand the world around us, but also to reach spaces where our daily experience does not have the opportunity to reach. Talking about cinema, about images, is an exercise in communication that brings us closer and unites us as a community.

Many people think that rugby is one of the toughest sports, but what is really important is that it promotes teamwork and respect for the different abilities of its players. This sport also cultivates values that are very much in line with those that ESIC wants to transmit.
Catalina Estulin
Volunteering has always been important to me. It was instilled in me from a young age and sharing time on a short-term, or long-term basis, can make all the difference.
Jacobo Ynclán
Soccer has been everything for me. It accompanied me in my childhood, at that stage when you want to fulfill your dreams. Also in adolescence, when you are training to build a future. It taught me to share and to understand teamwork. I feel privileged to have experienced what others wish for but never achieve.
July Alard
For me, being a volunteer is to feel a little closer to the people who need us. Another way of being in the world; of trying to transform it; of living and also of feeling that we can always give the best of ourselves by helping others.
Jonathan Garmón
Being a volunteer is, in addition to investing your time, effort and money in others, learning and, above all, receiving. Many times it is more of an experience for you than for them.
